Twain Tigers Club is a site based childcare program offered to our Mark Twain Community. We are licensed by the Colorado State Department of Human Services to accept children from age 5 years to 13 years and operate under the supervision of the school principal. Staff members include a program manager, assistant manager, and activity leaders with special expertise in organizing activities for elementary children. Twain Tigers Club follows the school calendar and is closed during Winter and Spring Breaks and major holidays. Twain Tigers also offers a Summer Camp for your convenience.
Before School: 6:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. We do not provide a snack in the morning, but children may bring breakfast or a snack from home if desired. Children are given the opportunity to socialize, play board games, do crafts, and play group games in the gym.
After School: 3:43 – 6:00 p.m. We provide an after school snack each day. Children will be given time for recess or gym game (depending on weather), homework or reading and computer lab. They will be offered a variety of craft, science and drama activities.
Teacher In-service/Conference days: 6:30 a.m.– 6:00 p.m. Tiger Club offers a full day program on teacher in-service and conference days. The school cafeteria is closed, so children will need to bring a lunch unless notified otherwise. We take the children on a field trip or invite a guest speaker in and round the day out with group games, craft/science activities, and time for socializing or just relaxing. Children will be provided with an afternoon snack.
Summer Camp: 6:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Tiger Club will be leaving the school premises on field trips three to four days per week. We will be visiting a variety of different places to include the zoo, museums, playgrounds and parks, theatres, restaurants, and recreation centers. We will include swimming at least twice a week. The rest of the day will be filled with arts & crafts, drama play, science, and music activities. Children will need to bring a lunch daily unless indicated otherwise on the calendar. We will provide an afternoon snack.

We require a minimum enrollment of two days/week. Families receive a 10% discount for siblings after the first child at regular rates (excluding full days/Summer). Registration is required for drop-in care and continent on space availability.
Registration fees are $20/child or $30/family for the summer session and $15/child or $25/family for the school year session. Registration fees are non-refundable and must accompany all registration applications. Please make checks payable to the Twain Tigers Club.
